Ashley Scruse, Ph.D.

I'm Deputy Director of the Morehouse Supercomputing Facility and Faculty Fellow with the AUC Data Science Initiative. My research lives at the intersection of computational biology, machine learning, and high-performance computing, focused on real-world solutions that create measurable impact for the communities affected by the problems I study.

I'm drawn to work that creates real impact. Whether it's a workshop that builds HBCU data science capacity, a training program that launches 35+ students into research careers, or published work that provides real utility, I want everything I build to solve actual problems.

Beyond academia, I'm building a personal brand around digital marketing and AI solutions for small businesses. Through side projects like an AI verification platform and a personal brand site, I'm developing the professional skills that come from leveraging AI to build in public: blockchain, smart contracts, digital marketing, email marketing, market research, copywriting, and automation.
